"Trækfugl" (the danish word for a migratory bird) is the soundtrack for the light and video installation of the same name. The installation is created by danish multimeda artist Martin Lilliendal, and consists of projected images of paper art by the famouse danish writer and storyteller Hans Christian Andersen.
The installation is setup at the Hans Christian Andersen House (H.C. Andersens Hus), a HCA museum in the town of Odense, where HCA was born. The museum is in the actual house where HCA's mother gave birth to him.
The sound design that compliments the music, is created using processed recordings of scissors and paper, used in different ways.
The scanned images of the paper art is digitally processed and projected from the inside onto windows covered with paper, and illuminated by coloured lights.
The 10 minute visual and musical journey is then viewed from the little romantic park Lotzes Have, that lies right behind the musuem, and from wich you can enter the HCA House. The enntracne to the museum from the park can be seen in the cover photo here on this site.
The installation will run evenings from 21:30 to 23;45 during the entire week of the 2015 HCA Festival in Odense, from the 16th to the 23th of August, 2015.
